Processing Activities

As the data controller under GDPR, we carry out the following processing activities.

Website Visits

This website does not use cookies.

Communication with Potential Clients

When you have questions about our website or would like to learn more about our services, you can contact us via:

cbj@bjerring-partners.dk
(+45) 2135 3582

Through this, we will process your personal data to engage in a dialogue with you, such as answering questions about our services. We only process the information you provide in connection with our communication.

We typically process the following general information: Name, email, phone number.

Our legal basis for processing this personal data is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

We will delete our communication with you once it is clear whether you wish to engage with our services.

If a special need arises to store your personal data for a longer period, it may be retained.

Clients

We need to communicate with our clients to ensure that the service is delivered correctly. This allows us to process data such as name, address, services, special agreements, payment information, and similar details.

The legal basis for processing this personal data is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

Once the service is delivered and any outstanding matters are settled, we will promptly delete the personal data.

Newsletter

We offer a newsletter to which you may voluntarily subscribe — you can always unsubscribe.

The purpose of the newsletter is to send subscribers updates with new information from the company, including new content on our website or announcements of our services.

We will only send you newsletters if you have actively consented to this. This requires you to provide your email address, after which we will send a confirmation email to ensure you are the one subscribing. This way, we ensure that you have actively consented to receive the newsletter. Our legal basis for processing your personal data (i.e., the email address) in connection with the newsletter is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

We will process your personal data as long as you remain subscribed to the newsletter. If you unsubscribe, we will stop sending it to you. If we have not sent you a newsletter for one year, your consent will lapse due to our inactivity.

When unsubscribing, we will retain your previous consent for 2 years after it was last used due to the statute of limitations according to the Consumer Ombudsman’s spam guidelines (Section 11.3).

Bookkeeping

We are required to keep all accounting records as per the Danish Bookkeeping Act. This means we retain invoices and similar records for accounting purposes, which may include general personal information such as name, address, service description.

The legal basis for processing personal data for bookkeeping purposes is Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR.

We retain these records for a minimum of 5 years after the end of the current fiscal year.

Job Applications

If you send us a job application, our legal basis for processing your personal data is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

If you have sent an unsolicited application, we will immediately assess whether it is relevant, and delete your information if there is no match.

If you have applied for a posted job, we will discard your application if you are not hired, and immediately after the right candidate is found for the job.

If you are involved in a recruitment process and/or hired, we will provide separate information about how your personal data will be processed in this connection.

Data Processors

Few can manage everything on their own, and we are no exception. Therefore, we have partners and suppliers, some of whom may be data processors.

External suppliers may, for example, provide systems to organize our work, services, consulting, IT hosting, or marketing.
